JORD Wood Watch Review (Picture Heavy)

Well hello guys! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I'm really excited to show you today's post. A few weeks ago I was asked if I would be interested in reviewing a JORD Wood Watch. I had heard of this company and their wood watches once before but I hadn't looked into the company until I was approached. I was surprised to find out that this company is based in St Louis, which is my hometown! I was immediately interested in working with JORD after finding this out, then I looked at all the different styles they offer! WOW! There are so many to chose from, all unique and all very beautiful.

After much deliberation, I finally set my sights on the 94A Series in the Cherry wood! A square dial, metallic face with a red and black grid center. The features of the dial are large enough to see easily but don't overwhelm the beauty of this piece. The 94A series retails for $159 and comes in three different colors and wood blends. Each JORD Wood Watch comes with a 1 year Limited Warranty.

The 94A Cherry goes so well with my Cardinals gear! Go CARDS!

This is a larger watch, listed as a man's, but I already have a girly dainty watch full of bling so I was really looking forward to having an over-sized "boyfriend" type of time piece. I have larger hands so this beauty is a good size for me and on the plus side, it fits my darling husband as well.

This beauty came boxed in a lovely carved wooden box. The top slides off easily to show the watch, which is wrapped around a herringbone style pillow. It came with a lint free cloth to keep the face nice and polished, since the watch is a bit large I place the cloth over the face to prevent the top of the box from scratching it.

This is by far the most unique and modern watch I have ever owned. The rich red-brown wood couples with the red of the face perfectly. It's extremely light weight yet very durable. It has a double locking fold over clasp to make sure you won't just knock it off your wrist.

One of the deciding factors in my choosing of this particular time piece was because it has the date display, I am ALWAYS forgetting the date so I needed that! I just love the clean lines of this watch and how versatile it can be. I can dress it up or down, I can wear it and my husband can too.

Now my favorite thing about this watch has to be the back, YES, the back of the watch. I love representing my hometown and when anyone asks about this baby I am so proud to say it was "Born In St Louis" just like I was!

My husband and I have both have been wearing it out and about for the last couple of weeks. He's really enjoyed it a lot more than he thought he would when I told him I'd be receiving it. He's already dropping hits at wanting one of his very own! To all you married folk, the traditional gift for year 5 is wood. There are so many different styles and colors to chose from I know this will make the perfect gift for a 5th anniversary. I know I'm already saving up my pennies to get the one my husband wants for our 5th anniversary!
