Savory Scents: Pumpkin Souffle Candle Review

Happy Fat Tuesday y'all!! I wish I was going to the big celebration in St Louis tonight so I could drink some hurricanes and stuff my face full of food but it's still way too cold for me! The last time I participated in any Mardi Gras festivities was several years ago and I literally froze myself from the waist down! So now if it's below 50 degrees or snowing I don't go! LOL

I know it's a TIOT day, and I will have a post up for that later tonight, but right now I want to talk about a non polish obsession of mine! Candles!!! I love candles. They make the house have a nice warm, cozy feeling. Scented candles are even better, because if you find the right one it can fill any room or even the house with a great fragrance and not be overpowering. I have a very sensitive nose so most air freshening sprays are way too harsh for my nose and cause my head to hurt. IMO most wall plug in's are either too fragrant or not at all and the scents usually don't smell anything like what they should! For these reasons I prefer candles. The best part is my husband LOVES candles even more than I do!!! Yay! So when Crystal of Savory Scents asked if I'd like to try out a candle I was super excited!

Pumpkin Souffle...
...a rich pumpkin scent blended with fresh nutmeg, cinnamon, creamy caramel and toasted vanilla.

One of my favorite scents is pumpkin, like a pumpkin roll baking! I don't like the bitter smelling pumpkin candles, it needs to be sweet! There was one that I picked up at Walmart back in October and now that the holidays are over there is no trace of this candle in sight! This candle from Savory Scents is BETTER! OMG! I love this candle! I seriously want to eat it because it smells so amazingly yummy in my house! LOL My hubby loves it too! The different smells blend so well and you can even pick each one out!

Not only does it smell better than the store bought candle I was in love with, it burns better too! The next picture is what Savory Scents looks like after burning for about 3 hours. It is very level, even and smooth.

Here is the store bought candle, well what's left of it at least. As you can see there are very uneven levels from each use. It burned more to one side wasting wax. Yes I can scrape the was off the side but as we all know this can be messy and a pain in the butt! Who really wants to do that? Not me.

Savory Scents can be purchased on Etsy here. They range from $2 to $8.50 in price and 2oz to 8oz in tins or glass jars. There are a variety of scents to choose from and you can also pic colors and glitters to make them even more decorative! All of Crystals candles are made from soy wax...
"Soy candles burn better and are safer to burn than paraffin wax. The wax is a natural and organic wax, creating a safe, natural product."
